Dinner together that night. The following morning we would travel to Pevensey to cover Duke William’s Norman invasion and progress to Battle to cover the battle of Hastings, returning to Salisbury Sunday afternoon. Good opportunities throughout for the group to socialise and get to know each other. There would be a preferential rate for society members.
Based on current estimations the cost would be around £300 for each society member and £350 for non-members. Excellent value for the speakers they will be getting, and far less than any advertised alternatives – in fact nobody does the combined content.
